Celebrating the Next Gen Class of '24



A Recap of the Next Gen Awards X Phatcamp Community Summit Last Tuesday, the 28th of May, Het Sieraad in Amsterdam transformed into a hub of celebration as we honored young professionals for their contributions to the creative festival industry at our Next Gen Awards X Phatcamp Community Summit. This event aimed to recognize the outstanding achievements of emerging talents in the dynamic events industry.About the Next Gen AwardsBorn from a desire to celebrate young talent, the Next Gen Awards is a Phatcamp initiative dedicated to highlighting the accomplishments of emerging professionals across various disciplines within the events industry. Organized in collaboration with first-year students, the program aims to honor hardworking individuals who are making significant strides early in their careers.

Event Highlights

From 19:00 to 00:00, attendees were treated to a night of celebration, networking, and inspiration. The event featured speeches and presentations from the nominees, showcasing their achievements and explaining why they are exceptional in their respective fields. Three esteemed jury members shared their stories and insights, further spotlighting the nominated talents:

  • Peter Roolvink - Brand Ambassador, Jägermeister

  • Angelo Bromet - Founder, Prospect Eleven & Talent Developer, Melkweg

Career

This category recognizes young professionals who are already making significant accomplishments early in their careers. It celebrates individuals who have demonstrated exceptional skills, dedication, and achievement in their respective roles within the events industry.

This category honors individuals who captivate audiences with their creativity, talent, and contributions to enhancing the overall event experience through music, visual arts, or other artistic expressions.

Event Organization recognizes young event organizers who produce unique concepts and innovate the events scene. This category celebrates individuals who demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, creativity, and vision in planning, coordinating, and executing successful events, contributing to the growth and development of the industry.

Innovation
