Afterhours: De Marktkantine

Whenever we find something we are passionate about, we tend to dig into this new interest and find out everything we can about it. For everyone who is passionate about the event industry, we organzine Phatcamp Afterhours. Within this serie of events we visit the headquarters of our partners to showcase what people and organizations are behind the festivals and events we love to visit so much. We dig into the history of these organizations, the people that work there and the companies they collaborate with to realize some of the most impressive events and festivals we know.

During the first edition we will visit De Marktkantine. One of Amsterdam’s most successful clubs. A venue with a rich history that re-opened 5 years ago and is now experiencing succes through strong programming and communication.

We dig into the learning curve of opening a new club, what it takes to organize a club event and the different roles that are fulfilled under the roof of this unique venue.
